Rieker was founded in 1874 in the Black Forest in southern Germany. Even then, Rieker became known throughout Central Europe as a manufacturer of quality footwear. The company has been a family business for five generations. Its focus on customer needs and product quality has ensured continuous growth over the past 30 years. Rieker footwear and accessories are supplied to approximately 9,000 independent retailers, mainly in Europe.
