The humanitarian organization ADRA is providing aid in Nepal.

The situation in Nepal remains critical. Following the disaster on August 26, 2026—which has so far claimed over 1,300 lives and left more than 5,000 people missing—a significant portion of the infrastructure remains damaged. Around 4,000 people are currently in makeshift evacuation centers; the risk of waterborne diseases is rising sharply, and the situation is further aggravated by dropping temperatures in the affected mountain regions.

ADRA is working closely with local authorities and other aid organizations within Nepal’s "single-door" aid coordination system. This system aims to ensure that assistance reaches those who need it most while preventing duplication of efforts. Our role is to provide expertise, logistics, necessary resources, and monitoring.
